Skipping Stones Design Challenge #48 SSSC21

My family planned a surprise birthday party for my aunt on Saturday night at her daughter's house. It was so much fun- all my cousins and their children were there and I had a blast! My mother, of course, asked me to make a card for her sister. I really only had a few minutes before we had to leave, so I quickly used a Sweet Sunday Sketch from Skipping Stones Design that I had copied down the other day. It's the last sketch Karen Giron will be doing as SSD's guest designer.
I've always loved cards like this- with squares for backgrounds! (My squares are 1 1/4" and the card is a standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4")
My card:
A close-up of the sentiment: (It looks a little unfocused in the picture.)
I love how this card turned out! My aunt seemed to love it, but then again, I guess her job as an aunt is to love anything her nieces make for her... hee hee!
I just wish I had made my stitching lines a little straighter...oh well :-)

Supplies used:

Kraft cardstock
MSE stamp (Birthday set)
K&Company Que Sera Sera paper pack
K&Company sticker (Tim Coffey)
Uni-ball Signo Broad white gel pen
Black ink

So there you go! Hope you enjoyed. Please visit the rest of my blog and leave lovely COMMENTS!
