I'm happy I've started to follow the Embellish Magazine blog, because this color challenge is so much fun! I've never done paper piecing before, but I love the look. This is what I came up with:
Here's an up close look at the birdy:
It was so much fun to make and I love how it turned out!
The polka dot paper is from Making Memories and the other two papers are from the Wild Safron pad from K&Company. The bird stamp is from Autumn Leaves and the sentiment from MSE's Birthday stamp set.
I also used that paper to make a card that I made about 2 weeks ago and forgot to post.
Here it is:I made this right after I came home from being gone all summer, so I used all the new products I had bought over the summer. I stamped and embossed the circle using a Martha Stewart stamp and Zing! embossing powder. I cut the circle using the Martha Stewart Circle Cutter I recently bought (and really like). The sentiment is from MSE's Love Friend set. I don't know where the ribbon is from; I got it in a random Grabbox I ordered. The heart is from a Colorbok kit.
Anyway, Yom kippur starts soon. Wishing everyone who's fasting an easy fast!
