It's my neighbor's birthday today so I wanted to make sure the card I made for her was extra special! It may not look like much, but it took me forever to decide on what to do, find my elements, and cut all those darn circles! I'm still getting the hang of my Martha Stewart circle cutter, so bear with me.
Here's the card:
I like the idea of having a window cute out with a cute element poking through from inside. I was happy to find the little cake- I think it's from K&Company, as are the patterned papers. I used this brown card base from Hero Arts- they come as note cards with matching envelopes.
Btw, my handwritten "happy birthday" isn't to shabby, huh? I always thought I had terrible handwriting!
Here's how the card rests on a surface:
Here's the inside:
And I doodled on the matching envelope!
You can see my nail polish, lol.
Speaking of which, how cool is this color? It's Mint Candy Apple from Essie. Yum.
So, I hope you enjoyed!
Pretty please leave lots of comments!
